Steeping Grains (steeped ~30 minutes until 170F)

  • 12 oz Crystal 15L
  • 12 oz White Wheat

Fruit  (Add water and cook until broken down)

  • 1.5 lbs Fresh Strawberries
  • 4 oz Dextrose

Malt Extracts/Additions (boiled for 60 minutes)

  • 8 lbs Light Malt Extract
  • 1 lb Turbinado Sugar

Hops

  • 1 oz Hallertauer (bittering hops boiled for 30 minutes)

Wort Clarifying Treatement

  • 1 Whirlfloc tablet (last 5 minutes of boil)

Yeast

  • Yeast - Safale US-05 11.5g (hydrated for ~10 minutes with ~teaspoon of dextrose)

Fermentation

  • Pour wort over clean ice to cool down and top off with water to 5 gal. US
  • Fermentation period 7 days @ ~75-78F
  • Estimated OG: 1.060 - 1.065
  • Estimated SRM: 4 - 6
  • Estimated IBUs: 7 - 10
  • Estimated ABV: 6 - 7%
