Steeping Grains (steeped ~30 minutes until 170F)
- 12 oz Crystal 15L
- 12 oz White Wheat
Fruit (Add water and cook until broken down)
- 1.5 lbs Fresh Strawberries
- 4 oz Dextrose
Malt Extracts/Additions (boiled for 60 minutes)
- 8 lbs Light Malt Extract
- 1 lb Turbinado Sugar
Hops
- 1 oz Hallertauer (bittering hops boiled for 30 minutes)
Wort Clarifying Treatement
- 1 Whirlfloc tablet (last 5 minutes of boil)
Yeast
- Yeast - Safale US-05 11.5g (hydrated for ~10 minutes with ~teaspoon of dextrose)
Fermentation
- Pour wort over clean ice to cool down and top off with water to 5 gal. US
- Fermentation period 7 days @ ~75-78F
- Estimated OG: 1.060 - 1.065
- Estimated SRM: 4 - 6
- Estimated IBUs: 7 - 10
- Estimated ABV: 6 - 7%
