Malt Extracts/Additions (boiled for 60 minutes)

  • 6 lbs Rye Malt Extract

Hops

  • 1 oz Liberty (flavor hops boiled for 60 minutes)
  • 1 oz Sterling  (aroma hops added last 15 minutes)

Yeast

  • Yeast - Safale US-05 11.5g (hydrated for ~10 minutes with ~teaspoon of dextrose)

Fermentation

  • Pour wort over clean ice to cool down and top off with water to 5 gal. US
  • Fermentation period 7 days @ ~75-78F
  • Estimated OG: 1.042
  • Estimated SRM: 6
  • Estimated IBUs: 33
  • Estimated ABV: 3.7 - 4%
