January 21, 2009: Building and Profiling an Application with Skyway, Netbeans, and JPA

In this presentation, Joel Fradkin will describe several useful tools for building web applications.
First, Joel will present a JPA backed application built using Netbeans. He will create an entity module hook to a data base and then create the domain objects and from those to build a fully functional CRUD set of pages in JSF.
Next Joel will discuss the Netbeans profiler and demonstrate its basic usage. Profiling is, arguably, one of the most overlooked aspects of application development.
Finally, Joel will present an application he built using Skyway Software’s Model Driven Application tool. This application was a winner in the Skyway Cup, sponsored by Skyway Software.
You won’t want to miss this information packed session.
